I mean it wholeheartedly when I say that Mental Health First Aid has transformed my life and empowered me to save lives. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) provides the skills to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults. With 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. living with a mental illness, someone you know is likely facing a mental health or addiction challenge.
