🌟 Last Fall, Equal Shares Parenting transitioned the ESP Family Activity Center in Olivette into a 501c3 and got to work to expand our services and support to the community!

Our first Parenting Workshop is going to be a great way to kick off Black History Month at ESP! We’ll of course talk about Racism and Microaggressions, but at the heart of this topic is a focus on KINDNESS, EMPATHY, and PRIDE.

“Kira has a passion for working with children, youth, and families. Kira obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2010. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2014. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™️. Kira has provided individual, group, and family counseling to preschool, elementary, middle, and high school aged students, as well as young adults in various school districts and no profit agencies. She currently operates her own private practice, Hearts of Play Counseling, LLC. Kira has clinical expertise in trauma, grief and loss, child development, and peer relationships, and addressing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, and depression”

“I am most hopeful for meeting new families at our parenting workshops and most excited to see my oldest son go off to college and start a career!”

Tatiyahna or The Future Dr. Segers is a brainiac for sure with the perfect balance of playfulness which is EXACTLY what you want in a therapist for littles! She always has a bright smile for her littles and a caring heart for the adults that she serves! She has no problem being playful in both settings and allowing individuals to heal their inner-child in her space. She is The Dream Team member Most Likely to Make Sound Effects During A Meeting 🤣.

Let’s start with our newest hire, L’Oreal Campbell! She’s the member of The Dream Team most likely to get caught giggling and her laugh is truly infectious!

When we asked her what she’s most hopeful for in 2026, her response was:
