I wanted to talk a moment to give all of you an update on what is going on with my injury and my business.

Sadly, my right shoulder is still causing me significant pain. The therapies that I have been doing are helping my strength, but I am not where I had hoped I would be by now. I do have an appointment for a second opinion in January and am hoping to have more information and a new plan.

Due to the continued pain and financial issues that my injury has caused, I have decided to close my office space at the end of this year. I will still be accepting relaxation massage appointments and my book has a few openings for the next two weeks. Check back with online booking as more times will open weekly until December ends.

At this time, I am waiting for the new doctor's opinion and more tests to decide what my massage future holds. It has been an amazing 22 years so far and I do hope that I will be able to continue in some capacity.

I ask that you reply to this email with all of your questions and concerns, and I will answer them all as I am able.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving day!

With all of the challenges and changes going on in life it is a good idea to stop and reflect on the positive things that we may overlook. For me, I am grateful for another year of being a part of all of your lives and healing journey. I am thankful for the continuing health and happiness of my family, friends, and clients.

I miss all of my clients! Here it is Sunday 11/14. I’m 72 hours out from a cortisone shot in my R shoulder, one week into intense physical therapy, and I’m in less pain☺️ Starting back into the office slowly this week.

Quick update on massaging and my injuries. Most of my body is healing well, the feet and neck seems to have calmed down significantly. It’s these pesky shoulders that are holding me back and giving me pain. I am seeing an orthopedist next week and am starting PT Monday. I do apologize for any appointments that I have had to cancel. Those of you I worked on a few weeks ago, I was on anti inflammatory steroids and had a false sense of wellness and much reduced pain.

Dear Clients and Friends

Earlier this month I had an accident where I fell and injured my neck, shoulder, and foot. While I didn't break any bones, I did some serious soft tissue damage that has not healed as it should. I am working with my doctor and hope that we can get past this and break the pain pattern so that I can return to my usual strong self.

As of today I am not able to preform any deeper tissue massages and will only be preforming 30min. and 60 min. services of relaxation massage. I am also going to be reducing my availability to one or two massages a day. I am also not currently taking any new clients to my practice.

I do hope that with therapy and rest I will be back in the office soon giving my special brand of therapeutic massage that many of you have come to love. I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused and want to thank you all for your support.
