I want to emphasize that we're likely to hear heartbreaking stories of animals freezing to the ground during this storm. It’s not a gentle way to go. A doghouse simply isn't enough to protect a dog from the dangerously low temperatures and snow we're expecting.

This isn’t the time to turn a blind eye or avoid getting involved. If you see an animal left outside, it will die. Please dont be complicit in the animal suffering. Make the call.
***if you are outside of Illinois or Missouri I guarantee your town/city/county has a number you can call. Check your local pages/humane society/animal rescues.
