After an incredibly successful year of community support, SMTC will be continuing its monthly donations to in 2026! Take a look at what the non-profit needs in February and consider a gift for our less fortunate friends. All donations can be dropped off by the coat rack past the front desk at SMTC. You might be too cold to think about next weekend but our very own Paige Van Nest will be presenting a piece alongside her sister Morgan at next week's festival. We've been catching glimpses of rehearsal at SMTC and it's looking 🔥. Catch Paige's piece alongside a variety of local and national choreographers at next week's Dare to Dance presented by MADCO.
Up next, meet 2026 Dare to Dance choreographer and former MADCO artist Paige Van Nest 💃🏽
Paige Van Nest is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and began her training at Arts in Motion School of Dance. She graduated from Webster University in 2019 with a BFA in Modern Dance and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Her training outside of Webster University includes Nashville Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Big Muddy Dance Company, and MADCO. She is currently dancing with Leverage Dance Theater and teaches at M and M Dance Academy and Dance Center of Kirkwood. Additionally, she trains dancers at Sports Medicine and Training Center and is a production assistant for Space Station Dance Residency.

On August 19, 2002, owners Scott and Robbie first opened their doors to Sports Medicine & Training Center in Webster Groves with a desire to integrate physical therapy and rehabilitation with performance training programs. Since then, the company has grown in size and moved to Crestwood and Clayton!
SMTC specializes in general orthopedics, sports-related physical therapy and a variety of sports performance training programs. We also have a highly qualified staff that works with endurance athletes and a dance medicine program that works with local dance companies in the area.
Our well-equipped locations are located in Crestwood and Clayton and easily accessible from major highways.
