A single line in Missouri's budget could cost hundreds of lives.

Missouri has seen two straight years of declining overdose deaths, and naloxone is a big reason why. Now the Missouri House has voted to eliminate $8 million in funding, a 54% cut. And a Senate draft would require brand-name Narcan over lower-cost generics, which could mean up to 94,000 fewer doses.

Our procurement process prioritizes American manufacturers and not-for-profit distributors because saving lives shouldn't be driven by profit margins. That's exactly why this language matters.

This right here… this is what love in action looks like. 💙

Today we were blessed by Progressive AME Zion Church, who came through with warm food, open hearts, and a whole lot of care for our community. They didn’t just cook a meal—they showed up, served with kindness, and made our participants feel seen, welcomed, and valued.

You can feel it in this picture. The smiles, the pride, the intention behind every tray. That kind of service sticks with people.

We are beyond grateful for your time, your energy, and your willingness to stand beside us in this work. This is how we build something stronger—together.

Thank you for loving our people the way you do. 🙏💙

🐰💙The Easter Bunny hopped into MoNetwork today… and the room filled up fast. 💙🐰

We shared a warm Easter lunch, lots of laughs, and sweet moments of community. The bunny made the rounds, posed for photos, and helped bring a little extra joy to the day.

We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing team and volunteers who made such a wonderful meal and created a space full of warmth and care. You made today special.

We were also thankful to have St. Louis Black Harm Reduction onsite offering acupressure, and Vivent providing STI testing — meeting folks with care in more ways than one.

Full plates, fuzzy ears, and a whole lot of love.
That’s how we do Easter at MoNetwork. 🐰🥕

🚨 New Drug Checking Results
St. Louis Supply Update 🚨

We received new lab results from recently submitted samples, and the takeaway is simple:
The supply is heavily mixed and unpredictable.

Substances found included fentanyl and analogs, xylazine, methamphetamine, co***ne, tramadol, sedating medications, veterinary sedatives, and multiple cutting agents. Some stimulant samples also showed trace fentanyl.

What this means:
You may not be using what you think you’re using.
The same name does not mean the same contents.
Mixes of depressants and stimulants increase overdose risk and make reactions harder to predict.

Harm reduction reminders:
• Use with someone you trust
• Go slow with new supply
• Test when possible
• Carry naloxone
• Check on people longer than usual

Rescue breathing and naloxone are what save lives.
Airway + oxygen + naloxone.

Knowledge saves lives.
Community saves lives. 💙

Harm reduction can be as simple as a pair of shoes. 👟

Sometimes we meet people walking miles with nothing on their feet…
barefoot on hot pavement
barefoot in the cold
barefoot through broken glass and gravel

A pair of shoes isn’t just comfort — it’s dignity, safety, and care.
It’s preventing wounds.
It’s preventing infections.
It’s saying: you matter enough to be protected.

We’re currently collecting new or very gently worn shoes:
• Tennis shoes
• Sandals
• Boots
• Slip-ons
• Any brand
• Any size

If they’re clean and in good shape, we can use them.

This is harm reduction.
This is meeting someone where they are.
This is making sure no one has to walk barefoot when they don’t have to.

If you’d like to donate, message us or drop off at the center.
Every pair helps. Every step matters. 💙
