We are incredibly grateful to the Missouri Office of Administration for recognizing our team during National Disability Legislative Day at the Capitol this past Wednesday!
Staff and consumers from our St. Louis and Jefferson County programs proudly attended to advocate for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities across Missouri. It was a powerful day of sharing stories, highlighting the impact of our services, and speaking up about the importance of continued funding for day habilitation and community-based supports.
We are especially thankful for the opportunity to meet with Commissioner Ken Zellers and other state leaders to discuss how critical these programs are for the individuals and families we serve. When funding decisions are being made, itโs vital that lawmakers hear directly from the people who are impacted most.
At Judevine Center for Autism, we believe every individual deserves access to services that promote independence, dignity, and meaningful community involvement. We are so proud of our staff and the individuals we support for representing our mission so well at the Capitol.
Thank you to everyone who continues to advocate alongside us for a stronger, more inclusive Missouri! ๐
Today, Commissioner Ken Zellers had the privilege of meeting with Missourians from the Judevine Center for Autism during National Disability Legislative Day at the Capitol.
It was an incredible opportunity to hear firsthand about the vital work being done to support individuals with autism across our state. A special thank you to Jayna Bailey (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) for sharing her expertise and highlighting the impact of Judevineโs programs on Missouri families. At the Office of Administration, we understand that making things accessible for those with disabilities matters because it ensures that every Missourian, regardless of ability, has the same opportunity to engage with their community and navigate their government with independence and dignity.
