๐Ÿ’™ When families tell their story, it reminds us why this work matters.

"It was really quite awesome. Our baby was in ICU the week before she came home and I probably would've gone insane if the nurse wasn't there. I had so many questions and having someone who I could ask, it was really nice to have someone to call without having to call the doctor. You guys were great."

Being there in the moments that feel overwhelming โ€” thatโ€™s what support looks like. ๐Ÿ’•

The cold weather and snow have kept our nurses and home visitors extra busy and it has also emptied our shelves. We are currently out of many winter clothing sizes for baby girls under 12 months.

Items like warm sleepers, footed pajamas, onesies, pants, socks, and coats make a huge difference for the newborn girls and families we serve during these frigid weeks.

If you are able to help, new or gently used winter clothes for baby girls in sizes newborn through 12 months are so appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at our office at 3 Sunnen Dr, Maplewood, MO 63143.

Thank you for showing up for the families in our community.

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved registered nurse and nursing supervisor, Chari Bender.

Chari was part of our Nurses for Newborns team for 18 years. She cared deeply for the mothers and babies we serve and for the nurses she mentored along the way. Chari had a rare gift for seeing strength in others and leading with compassion, honesty, and heart.

She was โ€˜phenomenalโ€™ โ€” a word she often used to describe others โ€” and her legacy will live on in every family and nurse she touched.

๐ŸŽโœจ This season has been brighter because of the Giving Machines by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are so grateful for the generosity and kindness poured into our community through this incredible effort.

Every gift selected in the Giving Machines will soon help support newborns and families we serve, creating healthy starts and meaningful moments for parents and babies alike.

Thank you for spreading hope, compassion, and light this giving season!

๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿผ A heartfelt thank-you to Nicole Martin Salon for an incredible donation drive in support of Nurses for Newborns!

This week, Lindsey stopped by with a huge delivery of essential items our clients rely on every day โ€” diapers, wipes, baby care items, and more. These donations will go a long way in supporting families and helping newborns get a healthy start.

And of course, the visit came with an extra dose of joy thanks to Lindseyโ€™s adorable puppy, who made the drop-off even sweeter. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’›

Weโ€™re so grateful to Nicole Martin Salon for choosing to give back and for being such a meaningful part of our community For the Babies and For the Families.
