If posture truly caused pain…
every desk worker would be wrecked.
But they’re not — and the research keeps proving it.
Here’s what we know:
There’s no single “good posture.”
People with “perfect” alignment still get pain.
People with “terrible” posture often don’t.
Your body doesn’t care about angles — it cares about dosage.
Hold ANY position long enough and tissues get irritated.
Slouched, upright, twisted, flexed… doesn’t matter.
Duration > Position.
The real variable is load tolerance.
Stronger tissues handle stress better.
Weaker, deconditioned tissues fatigue faster.
This is why strength training + movement variety beats posture correction every time.
Stop chasing perfect posture.
Start chasing capacity.
If you’re a golfer, runner, or busy professional dealing with recurring pain — your alignment probably isn’t the limiting factor.
Your load tolerance is.
