In honor of Black History month as well as the birthday of Malcolm X on the 21st, we’re featuring the American Optical frame called the Sirmont. First introduced in the 1950’s, this ‘brow line’ look has never really gone out of style. Just another iconic frame from the American Optical archives that illustrates how fashion & history become intertwined. The Sirmont was famously worn by both LBJ & Malcolm X.
