The official Facebook account of Lambda Kappa Sigma (ΛKΣ) Alpha Zeta Chapter, an international professional pharmacy fraternity at St.

Louis College of Pharmacy. Lambda Kappa Sigma is the oldest and largest international professional fraternity for women in pharmacy. LKS was founded on October 14, 1913 by Ethel J. Heath and eight other students at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Since then, LKS has initiated over 30,000 members with 45 chartered chapters and 36 chartered alumni chapters internationally. The fraternity is open to undergraduate and graduate pharmacy students and practicing pharmacists. The Alpha Zeta Chapter was founded on May 13, 1951. We are proud to now have over 100 active collegiate members in our chapter for the 2013-2014 academic year.

🥳Happy birthday to our gorgeous sister, Kenzie White! Kenzie is involved in LKS as our historian, and on the STLCOP softball team! Her favorite food is fettuccini and her favorite thing about LKS is “getting to know everyone on campus from all grades!” Originally from St. Louis, Kenzie’s favorite classes are chemistry and Physiology and her favorite animal is her doggos back home! Happy birthday to our lovely sister, Janie Baker, turning 20 today! Originally from Canton, IL, Janie's favorite food is Spaghetti and a fun fact about herself is that she and her mom have simese cats! When asked what her favorite thing about LKS is, her response was "I love that when I am on campus regardless of which sister I see, they always great me with a warm smile or a hello."
Janie's role model is her mom because she is very giving and selfless, and she hopes to like her one day because her mom always seems to know what to do in tough situations. Dogs are her favorite animal because she loves their energy and spending time outdoors with them.. Especially with her three legged wonder dog, Lucy! How cute!

🥳Happy birthday to our lovely sister, Jasmine Kolawole! Jasmine is involved on campus in LKS as the academic chair, SGA- class of 2024 president, Chem I and II tutor, Chem Liason, and a student ambassador/ tour guide! Originally from st. Louis, Jasmine works for St. Louis Children's Hospital, and her favorite food is anything BESIDES raisins! So no one get her raisins for her birthday! (;
If there was a movie about her life, she would choose Zendaya to play her part because she is a total queen!

🎂Happy birthday to our beautiful sister, Mara Teer!🎂
Mara is our current NMO mom turning 22 today! Besides LKS Mara is also involved in our campus podcast, PillTalk! Originally from Valley Park, her favorite food is cheesecake and when asked her favorite thing about LKS, her response was “the opportunities to be able to do something outside of STLCOP. It is easy to get stuck in the mud with classes and studying. LKS helps me to get outside of that and remember I’m supposed to be enjoying my years in college. I get to meet lots of new people and make those important connection that I can use when I graduate.”

Congratulations to this months Lamb of The Month, Krupa Patel. Originally from Burr Ridge, Il, Krupa is involved in LKS as the philanthropy chair, as a class senator, an SLS instructor, and a biology tutor. A fun fact about Krupa is that her favorite food is the Mexican pizza from Taco Bell, and she strongly recommends you all to try it some time! When asked her favorite thing about LKS, her response was “my position in the fraternity. I LOVE being the philanthropy chair and raising money for project HOPE along with coming up with fun events for the whole school to enjoy! I also love the support I get from everyone, especially my lamb fam! They’re always there for me!”
Her favorite class at STLCOP is science and supernatural, and is she could give her freshman self advice she would say to not procrastinate and to fill out her planner!
Congrats Krupa for being such an awesome lamb!

Birthday Alert! Happy birthday to our gorgeous sister, Kristen Ritchie turning twenty-fun! Kristen is originally from St. Louis and works at Schnucks Pharmacy. Kristen's favorite food is anything with cheese and a fun fact about herself is that she was just on channel 5 news because she was interviewed at a mac n' cheese competition. When asked what her favorite thing about LKS is, her response was "The fulfilling adventures, laughs, and connections I have shared with many sisters, especially in my family."

Birthday Alert! Our lovely sister, Jessica Hausmann, had a birthday over spring break! Jessica, more commonly known as Jess, is a current sophomore from St. Louis! Jess enjoys eating a nice pizza, and a fun fact about herself is that she is the youngest of her 6 siblings! When asked what her favorite thing about LKS is, her response was "I made so many new friends when I joined LKS that I probably would not have met if it weren’t for joining!"
Jess's favorite sport to play is soccer, and if she could give her freshman self some advice, she would say "Stop procrastinating!" Her favorite animal is a sloth because she claims that they are lazy like her!

Originally from O’Fallon, MO, Emi’s favorite food is Pasta Carbonara, and a fun fact about herself is that she has traveled to 6 foreign countries, she thinks everyone should own a pair of Chacos, and she loves Disney songs! When asked what her favorite thing about LKS is, her response was “I didn’t realize how many service events existed. LKS gave me the opportunity to give back, especially alongside my friends!”

Sydney is a P1 involved on the STLCOP softball team, and in LKS. Originally from Sibley, IL, her favorite meal is a nice plate of spaghetti🍝, or a bagel 🥯! A fun fact about Sydney is that she lives on a pig farm, but find bacon disgusting! When asked her favorite thing about LKS, her response was “I love the connections I have made with so many girls. It has brought me volunteering opportunities that I would not have had beforehand.” A secret talent is that Sydney can wiggle her ears, and to reemphasize, Sydney loves Taylor Swift! 22 ooooh 🎶

They are there with me through everything and always are great at giving me advice! It was great this year getting a little, especially one that reminds me me so much of myself!”
