Rest in Peace Sir, and thank you!

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Congressman David Scott, a meaningful loss for the endometriosis community.

Congressman Scott was an early and steadfast champion for endometriosis awareness, helping to bring national attention to a disease that has long been overlooked. His leadership played a key role in establishing Endometriosis Awareness Month and advancing bipartisan efforts to improve education, early diagnosis, and research.

He understood that endometriosis does not just impact those living with the disease, but families, partners, and entire support systems, and he used his voice to push for change.

At a time when millions still face delayed diagnosis and limited resources, his advocacy helped move this conversation forward in a lasting way.

We honor his legacy with gratitude and a continued commitment to the work he helped advance.

I’m down to my 3rd month and a patch short now because I had issues with one… I sure hope I can get my next round, and don’t have to come up with an alternative….

More women are seeking treatment for menopause and perimenopause, driving a shortage of estrogen patches, one of the most commonly used forms of hormone ther...

She is by far one of my favorite Endo Warriors!

In the last three years, I’ve had over 50 endometriosis lesions cut out of my body. A chocolate cyst that was adhering my o***y to my side was removed. An appendectomy and a hernia repair. I’ve felt indescribable, inescapable pain. Trying to keep my invisible illness to myself after being told by doctors it was just “part of being a woman.” I spent 10 years being undiagnosed. As a teenager and young woman, I felt weak and deeply insecure. I was trapped in my own body. March is endometriosis awareness month. As this month comes to a close, I urge everyone to remember this invisible disease each and every day. To lend support, compassion and grace towards the millions who suffer. It’s up to all of us to raise awareness, not just for endometriosis but for women’s health as a whole. No one deserves to suffer in silence. For more information I turned to and . If you’re in pain, my heart breaks for you. I believe you. Please find answers. And don’t give up on yourself. I know how hard that can be.

When I tell you it can show up in the body anywhere I mean it!!!

Literature review: Endometriosis in the deltoid muscle

A 23-year-old patient presented with a painful soft tissue mass in their right shoulder, with symptoms persisting for six months. Initial tests were within normal limits, making diagnosis challenging. Surgical exploration revealed a firm, reddish mass embedded within the deltoid muscle, without a clear capsule and adherent to surrounding muscle tissue.

Histological analysis confirmed the presence of endometrial glands and stroma, along with hemosiderin deposits, leading to a diagnosis of extrapelvic endometriosis of the deltoid muscle.

Following complete surgical excision, the patient remained symptom-free, with no recurrence observed over 72 months of follow-up.
