My first stop of The Wellness Tour is complete and my heart is full! 🥰

A huge thank you to Highway Of Holiness Church Of Deliverance In Christ, Inc. for having me as a guest speaker for your Wellness Series. It was an honor to serving the community!

We dove deep into:

• The 'Gold Standard' for screenings

• How to build a true partnership with your Primary Care Provider (P*P)

• Reminded everyone that 💙

We stayed busy checking blood pressures while Zoey provided relaxing massages! 🩺💆🏾‍♀️

To everyone who showed up ready to invest in your health: I hope you feel empowered and well-prepared with your Roadmap to Wellness. Let’s keep this momentum going—prevention truly is the best medicine. 💎

Where should the Wellness Tour stop next? 🌍 If you’d like me to speak at your church, non-profit, or business, let’s connect! 📧 Email me at yourfavoritefnp1@gmail.com.

💡 Did you know there are several different ways to screen for colorectal cancer? 💙

💎 Colonoscopy: The gold standard. It allows for both detection AND prevention by removing polyps on the spot. (Usually every 10 years).

💎 FIT Test: A simple, non-invasive stool test you can do at home. (Recommended every year).

💎 Cologuard: A DNA-based stool test for average-risk individuals. (Recommended every 3 years).

Which one should you choose? 🤔 The best one is the one that gets done!

🩺 Partner with your doctor to find out which screening is right for your history and risk level.
If you are 45 or older and haven't been screened yet, THIS is your sign! 🛑 Call your doctor today! 🤳

Knowledge is power! Click the link in my bio to learn more about your colon cancer risk. 💙

Did you know that many people diagnosed with colon cancer report NO symptoms at all? This is exactly why regular screenings are so critical—they catch what you can’t feel. 🩺💙

While screening is the best way to stay ahead, it’s important to be your own advocate. Contact your primary care provider (P*P) if you notice one or more of the following:

• Blood in your stool
• Changes in your bowel habits (diarrhea, constipation)
• Sudden or unexplained weight loss
• Anemia (low iron)
• Ongoing abdominal pain, gas, cramping or bloating.
• Feeling tired or weak

Don't ignore what your body is trying to tell you! Early detection is the key. 💎

Drop a '💙' if you're going to pay attention to your gut this month!

03/04/2026

Did you know that about 1 in 3 people in the US who should get tested for colorectal cancer have never been screened?! Help me spread the word—if you’re 45 or older it’s time to get screened.

Early detection is everything as colon cancer is now the leading cause of cancer death for those under 50, but it is also one of the most preventable. 💙

Did you know colon cancer is the #3 leading cause of cancer death in men and #4 in women? 💙 The good news? It is one of the most preventable cancers. As , I want you to know that screening saves lives. When caught early, it’s much easier to treat—and some tests can even be done in the comfort of your own home! 🏠

Lower your risk starting today:
🏃🏽‍♀️ Stay active & maintain a healthy weight
🥗 Eat a high-fiber, colorful diet
🩸 Manage your blood sugar levels
🚭 Quit smoking
🍸 Limit alcohol intake

Time to take action: If you are 45 or older and haven’t been screened, this is your sign to call your provider! 🤳

Note: If you have a family history of colon cancer, diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s/Colitis), or a genetic syndrome, you may need to start even sooner than 45. Don’t wait—advocate for your health!

Let’s win this fight together. Your future self will thank you! 💙

Have you had your screening yet? Drop a "YES" or a "Checking!" below! 👇
