Cold weather outside = stiff joints inside. 🥶 If you’re feeling tight from the temperature drop or just stressed from the holiday hustle, the Cobra Stretch is your new best friend.

How to do it: 1️⃣ Lie face down, hands under shoulders. 2️⃣ Exhale and gently press hips into the mat. 3️⃣ Lift your chest, arching naturally. 4️⃣ Hold for 15-30 seconds.

Say hello to our Muscle of the Month! This crucial group of muscles at the very front of your hip is responsible for flexing—letting you bend, lift your knees, and walk.

It’s time for your Stretch of the Month! We’re targeting those cranky Hip Flexors that get tight from all the sitting.

Here's the 1-2-3:

Kneel on one knee (like a lunge).

Keep your torso tall and gently shift your hips forward.

Feel the stretch in the front of the hip on the kneeling leg? HOLD!

PRO-TIP: Squeeze the glute on the kneeling side before you move. Trust us, it’s a game-changer for a deeper stretch.

Professional Stretching & Cryotherapy

Our stretch therapies are provided to people of all ages and abilities, and are categorized as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching, myofascial release (MFR), and a personalized combination of PNF and MFR stretching to reduce and eliminate specified areas of pain.

PNF Stretching

PNF stretching (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) enhances both active and passive range of motion in order to improve muscle performance. This form is considered an optimal stretching method when the aim is to increase range of motion. Our 20-minute session, The Carey Stretch, lengthens treated tissues to reduce the range of muscle pain, allowing for improved flexibility and muscle motion.
