Catch me (resembling a gremlin/ghost) creepily hovering over my products. Hunty recently helped me put together my stock tracker finally after muchhh procrastination…It was a lot of back and forth, with some swearing at my excel spreadsheet.
He was working very hard trying to learn my methods of tracking. Now I have just a few more things to work on tracking, like my jars and containers….this will be so helpful for my ANNOUNCEMET: Seasonal Catalogues!!!

This past year was lots of learning, and honestly that part never stops. Slowly but surely I am getting some products trialed. From now on: each month through my the newsletter I will share the latest catalogue containing my recent product launch. This is still in development, but I still plan to start releasing some tester boxes with some of my products. I would love to have you check it out! Simply message me with your email so I can make sure you’re on the list!

I am officially up to my neck in pine needles, and my socks are going to keep finding them for much time to come -oopsies...

Christmas may be over: I however, am still smelling that fresh Christmas air with these Fraser and Balsam fir trees!
Branch & Bloom Flower Farm Thank you so much for the beautiful and fragrant trees, gosh I honestly just want to bathe in them. Wait a minute...could I bathe in them?
While I don't think they are quite fitting for the bath, I do have LOTS planned with these bad boys. My clothes pin line, drying basket, and herb hangers are all FULL of branches. Each in a very specific spot, with a very specific purpose in mind!

Now I could be called superstitious, but there is something so protective about branches and the aromas that you just can't shake. There will definitely be a blog post brewed up on Christmas Trees, so you can sustainably harvest and use your own! All of the products I plan to sell, will be posted in a flexible recipe format to the blog. Just after I take a few steps back and finish my Sumac soap box!

It’s never too early to start spring cleaning right?

Actually, this time of year is sort of popular for declutterring in many cultures. In Chinese, Japanese, and Balkan traditons the practice of deep cleaning physical and mental clutter before the new year is common. However cleaning is NOT to be done on New Year’s Day (you clean away the good luck too). The real question is, when is the New Year Exactly?

Read more on that here: https://www.oneforisrael.org/the-real-new-year-according-to-the-bible/ OR https://daily.jstor.org/how-does-the-jewish-calendar-work/

Anywhosies that being said, I think I may be a bit early according to a few cultures and calendars…but hey, my apothecary is looking crisp and clean!

Happy New Year! 🎆

As we enter this new season, I want to invite you into something more personal.

In December of 2024, I quietly started That Brainy B. NOT from a big perfect plan, but with a lot of hope, prayer, and willingness to try. This past year held both excitement and of course failure. Things I thought would work..did not. Ideas had to be reworked. I learned the hard way where my limits were, where my expectations were maybe off, and where I needed to slow down and listen more closely. Those moments were not wasted. They shaped how I work and prepare to show up now. They taught me patience and stewardship.

As we move toward Valentine’s Day 💗, I’m preparing for my very first official product launch (Jan 25th). This one feels different though. It feels rooted and more thoughtful. Built from what I learned this last year.

If you’d like to stay connected, I’d love for you to join my email list (simply message me your email privately). That’s where I’ll be sharing upcoming events, product announcements, and what’s unfolding next intentionally. I do this monthly starting with a special recap

Thank you to those who have followed along and encouraged me, read my writing, or showed up in small ways. This next season will be more shaped by growth instead of perfection. I’m grateful to share it with you.

As promised: the tincture post has been updated!

At my recent Find your Flavor event, I mentioned tinctures briefly, and how learning to craft them can be such an empowering skill. Why tinctures?

I often choose tinctures because they are:
• Simple to use and tend to be easier to dose
• Long-lasting + prepared with care and intention
• Aligned with seasonal shifts and real, everyday life
• A thoughtful way of stewarding what God has already provided

In this updated blog post, I share what tinctures really are and how to craft them using different methods. I kept it as simple as possible to help to get started 🤎

If you’re curious about tinctures or wondering why they’re so common in my work, this post offers a clearer look.

I need your help for a moment 🤍

As the season shifts, I’ve been slowing down and reflecting on what this year has held and what feels right to offer next. If you’ve noticed recent updates on google or my website, you’ve probably noticed that theme too.

Instead of guessing what to plan, I want to ask you directly.

What kinds of events or workshops would you actually want to attend? What would feel supportive, nourishing, or worth showing up for in this season of life?

If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate you:
• Voting on the events you’re most interested in
• Signing up for updates so you don’t miss what’s coming (optional)

Your input helps shape what I create next, and I’m grateful to be building this slowly and intentionally with you.

As someone who enjoys a good smell but doesnt enjoy the harsh chemicals that can come with it…SIMMER POTS I SAY FOR THOSE IN THE BACK!

Here are 3 super simple (and delightful) ideas to get you started! Have fun and share you favorite blends in the comments below.

My favorite was the fruity citrus blend, but I also love a good greeny smell: think Rosemary or Fraser Fir 🌲 yummm which speaking of Rosemary…there are still a few tickets for the LAST ‘Find your Flavor’ Event of 2025. You don’t want to miss it!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

This weekend Hunty and I went to get our tree from Branch & Bloom Flower Farm 🎄
She had complimentary hot cocoa, which I held onto for dear life because I left my gloves at home oopsies…the goats were a little more prepared with their cute Christmas sweaters. With the recent big dump of snow, that familiar cozy feel is creeping in. Spread the joy and always remember to enjoy the little things in life ❄️
