Holiday baking time is upon us so let us help you with our Annual Pie, Cookie, Cheesecake and Nordic Ware baking pan fundraiser. Choose from chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie dough drops for $3 per doz. Dutch Apple, pumpkin, lemon meringue, and chocolate cream 10 inch pies for $9 each or 14 slice variety cheesecake for $20 each. Lemon meringue and chocolate cream pies are pre-baked. Dutch Apple, pumpkin need to be baked. Also available are these wonderful Nordic Ware baking pans with lids. Order forms are available at the Stacyville Bank and in the front entrance of SCNH or you can message us here. Please make checks payable to Stacyville Community Nursing Home. New this year, use our Venmo account pinned to the top of this page to pay for your order. Be sure to mark the transaction as fundraiser purchase. Orders must be in by Dec. 15 for Christmas delivery. SCNH October Newsletter -

We kicked things off by gathering together to watch the big Iowa vs. Iowa State football game. The energy was high as everyone cheered on their favorite team—it was wonderful to see so much team spirit and friendly rivalry.

Tomorrow night is No-Cook Thursday! The Mitchell County Cattlemen will be grilling Ribeyes and Burgers starting at 4:30 until 7 pm.. Free will donation. The state Fire Marshal has mandated our nursing home must install a new hood in our kitchen. Estimated cost will be in excess of $20,000. The project must be completed by December 6 of this year. All proceeds from the event will be used towards this very large unexpected expense. Thank you in advance for your support.
