Associates for Women's Wellness is a single provider women's health office located in Stafford Springs, Ct. We offer women comprehensive gyn and prenatal care in an intimate, comfortable atmosphere. Our staff, as well as our provider, Donna Lowney, Certified Nurse Midwife, treat every patient with dignity and respect and are nonjudgmental. We treat our patients the way we want to be treated. We give patients the education they need to make informed decisions on all aspects of their healthcare. If we do not offer a service that is needed then we will refer to a provider who they will feel comfortable with. We are accepting new patients and night hours are available. We accept most forms of insurance. MEDICAID is welcomed here. We also offer payment plans that are reasonable if there is no insurance coverage.

MONEY BEFORE PATIENTS!! This is what is wrong with our healthcare system. THIS IS WHY I choose to be self-employed despite it being very difficult to maintain a solo practice. The costs of everything rising but I am not in it for the money. I am not forced to send patients to anyone in one network. When needed, I can refer to providers that I would send my family members to. There is a lot to be said for that; I can sleep at night.. AND, I am fortunate to have support of many great specialists in the area.

WE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS AND SOME BAD NEWS

The bad news: after almost 20 years in the office, it saddens me to report that Rita gets to retire. Although we are sad for us that she left her permanent position, we are happy that she gets to begin a new chapter in her life as "retiree".
Words alone cannot describe what Rita has offered to the office. She has been the most loyal, dependable and supportive employee/coworker/friend that I was blessed to have in my corner. I don't know if we would have made it without her. Congratulations, Rita!

For the good news. We have a new secretary. We are sure she will also compliment our staff and is a great "fit" to our unique office.
We are pleased to welcome Suzanna to our office!
