A huge congratulations are in order for Maria as she recently passed the CANS exam and is now a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist!

She is now, Maria, MSN, FNP-C, CANS 🎉

This national certification awarded by the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board is no small feat! To qualify, she had to complete over 1,000 hours of aesthetic experience and pass an advanced board exam. It’s a huge accomplishment and a true reflection of Maria’s dedication to mastering her craft and providing our clients the best care possible. We are so proud of her for chasing her goals!

Her achievement is a reminder that aesthetic medicine is not a field where you learn once and stay still. It’s an industry that demands curiosity, humility, and the willingness to always evolve. New research emerges, technologies advance, techniques change, and safety standards improve. And because of that, we believe it is our responsibility to keep learning, keep questioning, and keep pushing ourselves forward.

At Thistle, our team values continuing education, staying curious, and always striving to deliver the safest, most thoughtful aesthetic care possible to our clients. We are proud to have a dedicated clinical team of Aesthetic Nurse Practitioners who all have a Master’s Degrees in Nursing. In addition to their graduate education, our providers stay at the forefront of the aesthetic industry by attending regular hands-on trainings, studying anatomy and injection techniques, reviewing case studies, and are fully educated on complication management.
