Birth Languages is a naturally-minded, comprehensive childbirth method with a modern perspective on preparation for birth and parenthood. We have identified four languages of birth: Movement, Touch, Intuition, and Vocalization. Women may draw on aspects of each language, however, a primary language is often used for coping throughout the duration of labor. The Birth Languages method helps women id

This method explores the ways pregnancy and birth speak to us, with a focus on evidenced-based information and empowered decision-making. It helps couples utilize the pregnancy and birth experience to build stronger bonds by training partners to be compassionate, knowledgeable birth companions. The Birth Languages method merges time-honored techniques for an undisturbed labor, new strategies to enable women to work with their laboring bodies, current knowledge of fetal positioning, and evidenced-based information regarding informed decision-making and medical interventions.
