We’re having SNOW much fun in OT this week! ⛄️❄️🧣⛸️

Our friend went “ice skating” while building a snowman, which worked on his balance. We made it more challenging by adding some obstacles! Then our friend had to balance the snowball on the racket and focus on bringing it to the end of the obstacle course before it melted!

Inchworms are a fun way for kids to work on upper body strengthening, motor planning and coordination. Have child stand with feet together, bend down and place hands flat on the floor and have them walk or “inch” out slowly until they are in a plank position. Have them hold that position for a few seconds or complete a task then walk their hands slowly back to their feet. 💪🏽

This friend practiced single-leg balance by peeling stickers off his knee and placing them on the matching colored X.

The activity was then graded up by trying to get stickers off his foot 💪
