Salute! We raised a glass to good company and the Winter Olympic Games with a favorite Italian pre-dinner tradition for our Italian Aperitivo Social Series event.

We indulged in antipasto, herbed focaccia, cannoli, Italian spritzes and coffees while celebrating our favorite winter sports.

Spend an afternoon at Atria Stamford with us! Residents enjoyed a visit with the second grade classes from the Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy. We sang, laughed, and made crafts!

Residents also learned a lot about mindfulness from Theresa. She discussed the importance of finding their “one thing,” ways to be kind to those around us, and strategies for practicing self-care.

Later in the afternoon, residents played poker, worked hard in Balance Exercise Class, and made a project in a painting class with professional artist Ellen Gordon. What a great way to spend the day!
