Today, on World AIDS Day and Giving Tuesday, please help us secure vitally important mental health services, which are a key ingredient to holistic health care and successful HIV treatment. The COVID pandemic has forced the Witkoppen Clinic to redirect limited resources, putting their Counseling Psychologist position in jeopardy. During this season of giving, we’re asking for YOUR help to raise $50,000 for a full-time Counseling Psychologist. All gifts of $500 or more will be matched (up to a max of $25,000)

“Rise to the challenge” to ensure the families of Witkoppen have the mental health resources they need! Donate today via our website: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/1439350

The Gift of Hope partners with well-established clinical organizations in South Africa to help fill critical gaps in care and provide holistic health care to women and children infected with and affected by HIV.

This year the needs are more critical than ever. COVID has had a deep effect on all of us, but it has been especially challenging in South Africa for the vulnerable communities we support. The pandemic has diverted limited resources away from essential programs and services, and risks undoing many of the advances in HIV care and treatment that have been made over the last 20 years, thanks to the support of our donors.

So it is with great humility as we begin this season of giving that we are asking you to help us “Rise to the Challenge” in this new reality—and to bring hope to those who need it most. Please donate today via our website: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/1439350

Imagine if your child’s health and even survival was in jeopardy because you couldn’t afford the bus fare to travel to the doctor; or the breakfast needed to swallow your morning medication; or the $15 patient fee to receive life-saving medical treatment. For most of us, this is a scenario we will never confront, and can hardly even fathom. But it is the harsh reality for thousands of South African women and children who live in abject poverty and whose lives are compounded by the challenges of HIV infection; shame, stigma, and serious, potentially life-threatening illness. Imagine that for $180 dollars a year--less than 50 cents a day—you could Sponsor A Mother and Child and change their future, giving them access to holistic care, and most importantly, giving them hope.
