Acupuncture for opthalmology is a branch of TCM and non TCM based knowledge used to treat severe problems with eyes. Not many books are written about this subject yet there is enough information to work with. I have been doing a lot of eye work and acupuncture together with herbal medicine provides a great addition to regular medical eye care

This is for people who are trying to improve their vision. Please do not forget to do your eye excercises. Remember Qi stagnation in the eyes could lead to severe eye problems later in life.

I guess no one is interested in answering the posted question. Well, I have a thought - may be I should offer a scalp acupuncture seminar. Any thoughts about it?

I would like to caution about some of the symptoms coming from deficiency conditions. Many think that since it is a deficiency condition the symptoms are mild in intensity. This is a dangerous assumption. LV Yang rising is a good example. The symptoms are sometimes very severe but it roots in a deficiency. Here is an interesting question how does one know if Wind Cold is of a deficiency or excess type? Posts some answer please :)

This is for all of you who is suffering from pain. Remember pain may always be dealt with. In Chinese medicine there are different ways to deal with pain. Acupuncture is one of the modalities. Acupuncture opens the channels a lets the energy go freely. It balances Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood. The next modality is Moxibustion. It is a way to bring more energy to the acupuncture points. It also brings heat to a body if there is a need to warm things up a bit. Another technique is cupping. This technique has been used in different countries for about the same reasons. It deals with pain and works well for asthma and diseases gotten by stagnation of blood.
