Maternal Fetal Care, PC is a full-service, perinatal practice in Stamford, Connecticut focusing on the provision of services to expectant mothers and their unborn babies. Services include: high resolution 2-D, 3-D, and 4-D sonography, including first-trimester nuchal translucency/nasal bone screening, level II anatomic surveys, fetal echocardiography; preconception and perinatal consultation in all aspects of maternal-fetal medicine; co-management of complicated pregnancies; management of diabetes mellitus during pregnancy; genetic counseling and testing; performance of prenatal diagnostic procedures, i.e., amniocentesis, and CVS; antepartum FHR testing; 2-D and 3-D saline infusion sonography (SIS), and gynecologic ultrasound. Maternal Fetal Care, PC is the only facility in the state of Connecticut accredited by both the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and the American College of Radiology (ACR) in both Obstetric and Gynecologic ultrasound. Our staff includes six ARDMS-registered sonographers who have also received additional certification from the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) in nuchal translucency screening (NT), nasal bone measurement (NB), and uterine artery Doppler assessment of preeclampsia risk. Two of our sonographers are registered in fetal echocardiography by the ARDMS. Our chief sonographer is also ARDMS-registered in vascular and neurosonography. Our clinical staff also includes two certified genetic counselors, a certified physician’s assistant, and three APRNs.
