When the longest government shutdown in U.S. history threatened food security, Mosaic Life Care caregivers lived our mission: putting the needs of the patient first by empowering a culture where caregivers bring their best, ensuring a healthier future for generations to come.

From generous donations to food drives and creative initiatives like “Tackle Hunger,” caregivers showed what care beyond medicine truly means:

💰 $50,000 contributions from Mosaic and Mosaic Life Care Foundation supported families through United Way.

🥫 Hundreds of pounds of food fortified pantries across Albany, Maryville, and St. Joseph.

🦃 Cancer Care teams provided 30 Thanksgiving meals to cancer patients in need.

This is Mosaic in action — compassion, collaboration, sustainability and commitment to a healthier tomorrow.

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. At Mosaic, we have a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosing and treatment of lung cancer for our patients. Our patients can trust that experts from all over Mosaic are developing the best plans to bring the best outcomes. 🫶

Our Multidisciplinary Lung Cancer Team include physicians and caregivers from Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Pulmonary, Radiology, Pathology, Lung Screening and patient navigation. 🫁

As the effects of the government shutdown reach our communities, Mosaic is stepping up to help where it’s needed most — addressing food insecurity in our communities.

We’re proud to announce that Mosaic will donate $50,000 to the United Way of Greater St. Joseph to support local food programs. Even more inspiring, the Mosaic Life Care Foundation is matching that gift, bringing the total donation to $100,000! 🫶

But that’s not all – Mosaic Life Care – Philanthropy, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and others, is also organizing donation drives through our hospitals and clinics in St. Joseph, Maryville and Albany to further support those in need. Together, we’re making sure no one faces this challenge alone.

We’re living our Life Care Values: Compassion, Integrity, Connection, Sustainability and Equity. This is what community looks like. This is what care looks like. 🫶
