From Reiki training, Jillene also took the leap when I opened and we joined forces… this is our 3rd winter at the studio now! And since we are not sick of each other yet, we are tackling 2026 together as well!

Solo Entrepreneurship in the massage & wellness world can be isolating. Building a collaborative partnership with like minded individuals is far more rewarding!

Commence new shenanigans !

As many of you know, I have had limited bodywork openings for the last year as I navigate new complicated chronic illness symptoms.

I will be continuing massage and energy work but with limited openings as I continue to navigate a LONG awaited diagnosis of a genetic disorder causing potassium issues.

In 2024 I had a bad lupus flare which required back to back predisone treatments.
My typical random muscle weakness episodes decided to level to full on body paralysis… we have learned predisone is a no-no trigger for this condition.

The upside, my weakness episodes over the last 15 ish years is not MS and possble not autoimmune related! It is in fact a potassium disorder on top of a connective tissue disorder (hypermobile ehlers danlos)

On this new potassium treatment I have regained movement in muscles I haven’t in years! And so much less pain!

I am beyond grateful for my understanding clients as I have scaled back and for my lost of time in brain fog land.

Grateful for all those ladies in the industry encouraging me to keep going.

But a huge thank you to Jillene for not letting me just throw away my business multiple times over the last year. Esp when I was beyond frustrated with my body. * fun fact, low potassium causes mental health mood swings*

I am excited to start this new side quest with these ladies and my part will be bringing awareness of the positive impact that yoga & holistic healing has for chronic illness 🌞💕 Maine YogaFest
