Event | Free Webinar: Stanford OCD Awareness Day 2021: Research Discoveries, Treatment, and Hope

This year’s OCD Awareness Week is October 10-16. includes programs and events hosted by members of the OCD community around the world.
The Translational Therapeutics Lab, Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and OCD SF Bay Area (an affiliate of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF)) will be hosting Stanford’s fifth annual OCD awareness week event, which will continue in a webinar format this year.
Ethan Smith-Los Angeles/Atlanta-based writer, producer, and director-will be speaking on “Turning Pain Into Your Purpose.” There will be sessions on Initial Treatments, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and Novel Therapeutics; followed by a choice of 10 Breakout Rooms for Q&A with an OCD-focus on topics such as Exposure and Response Prevention, Su***de Prevention, Navigating College, Family Accommodation, Tourette’s/Tics, PANS/PANDAS, and Virtual Reality for Hoarding Disorder. There will also be a time for Bay Area residents to gather virtually and connect at the end.
