Spring View Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Christopher Sims, MD, board-certified Family Medicine Obstetrician (FM-OB), to the Spring View Hospital Women’s Center for labor and delivery services!

A long-standing and trusted physician serving families in Stanford, Kentucky, Dr. Sims will now deliver his patients at Spring View Hospital, bringing his legacy of compassionate, family-centered care to our Women’s Center.

Today we celebrate two incredible physicians who are truly the heart of our community — Dr. Sims and Dr. Miller. Their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to their patients do not go unnoticed. Day in and day out, they show up with servant hearts, listening ears, and a genuine desire to make a difference in every life they touch.

They’ve cared for generations of families, walked alongside patients through life’s hardest moments, and celebrated the victories right along with you. That kind of care is rare, and we are beyond blessed to have them right here in our hometown.

🩵 Why did you choose healthcare? The work in healthcare is deeply fulfilling. As a Christian helping others is not just a job but a way to show compassion and value to others.

🩵 Favorite part of your day? Early in the morning I walk my dog before daylight. I love looking at the sky and seeing the wonders of Gods creation!

Role: Family Practice Physician

✨ Why did you choose healthcare? I chose healthcare because I felt called to care for families through every stage of life. From newborns to grandparents. It’s an honor to walk alongside my patients and build lasting relationships built on trust!

✨Favorite part of your day? Without a doubt, caring for a pregnant woman and welcoming new babies into the world. The joy, excitement and hope that comes with new life will never get old. Being part of such a special season for families is truly a blessing.

✨ Most rewarding part of your job? The most rewarding part of is caring for generations of families. After 40 years in practice I’ve had the privilege to deliver babies and then watching them grow up- and even return with families of their own. That continuity of care is something I deeply cherish.

✨ One thing you would want patients to know about you? I came to a medically underserved area especially lacking OB care and stayed ever since. I opened up an OB unit and it has been very satisfying!

🩷 Why did you choose healthcare? Even as a child I was interested in how the body worked and was fascinated by illnesses and all things related to Science. My favorite toy was a Fischer Price Medical Kit I received when I was 3 years old.

🩷 Favorite part of your day? When my husband brings me a cup of coffee while I’m still in bed….. every… single…. Morning 💕

🩷Most rewarding part of your job? Seeing relief on my patients face when I reassure them I can help them and being a supporter of their emotional and physical needs.
