πŸ’— October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
πŸ’—
Our crew is proud to show our support by wearing pink shirts in honor of breast cancer survivors, fighters, and those we’ve lost. πŸ’ž Every shirt represents hope, strength, and the importance of early detection.

We stand with our community β€” and with everyone affected by breast cancer β€” as we work together for awareness, support, and a cure. πŸŽ—οΈπŸš‘

We are beyond grateful for the wonderful donation from Harper’s Hugs! πŸ¦‹

In the hardest moments, a small comfort can mean everything. These stuffed animals, given by a family in memory of their child, will carry love and comfort to others when they need it most. ❀️

We've had some interest in an EMT class here in Stanley and would recommend checking out Ringdahl Ambulance's EMT program being held in Tioga this fall! Here's the post from Tioga:

βš οΈπŸš‘ We are less than ONE month away from the start of class, and there is still lots of time to register! With the help of JEMSE over the last few years, we have worked hard to help equip small towns with EMTs who are confidently trained in treatment and transport of patients. In this class, you will learn skills such as: Basic Life Support, Medical and Trauma Assessments, Bleeding Control, Spinal Immobilization… and much more!!
If you are looking to make a difference in your community, this is a great place to start! 🌟🌟
🚨 Applications can be found at:

JEMSE offers this 3 month program twice a year (Fall and Spring semesters). We currently hold over a 73% first time pass rate for our students who challenge the National Registry exam. We have certified providers all over the states of ND and MN as well as instructors with numerous years of experien...

Three SAS providers, Cora (EMT), Timothy (Paramedic), and Ken (Paramedic) traveled to Bismarck this week to attend Advanced Hazmat Life Support held at HHS’s emergency preparedness office. AHLS prepares healthcare providers to medically manage victims of hazardous materials incidents including diagnosis, initial treatment, and antidote administration.

Additionally, they toured HHS’s medical cache & warehouse to better understand our state’s resources and disaster preparedness.

After the course, all three attended and completed the AHLS instructor course, receiving verification as instructors to build a pool of instructors for ND.

Thank you to the Mountain Plains Regional Disaster Health Response System for coming to ND and teaching this course!

We're looking for more friendly faces to join our team of volunteers! Volunteering with the ambulance is a great way to give back to your community - friends, family, and neighbors. We reimburse you for your time and provide all training required.

Call the station and ask to speak to Timothy about volunteering: 701-628-1095.
