BIG news for our community! πŸš—

Cora Wolsky, Stanley EMS EMT and Briana Dazell, Stanley PD SRO, have spent the week in training and are now Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians!

We’re excited to bring this FREE service to Stanley and the surrounding communities. We will check and inspect your child’s car seat for proper fit, positioning, and installation, while providing guidance to help ensure your child is safe and secure on every ride.

Did you know that 1 in 4 car seats are installed incorrectly? That’s why we’re here.

This is a judgment-free zone. Our goal is simply to educate, support, and help keep your child safe while traveling.

We will be hosting community car seat check events, but you can also call anytime to schedule an appointment with one or both of us.

πŸ“ž To schedule, please contact Stanley City Hall at 701-628-2225.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming our local Girl Scout troop for an ambulance tour.
These girls were polite, curious, eager to learn and everyone even got the opportunity to experience a ride on the stretcher!

We are so thankful they took the time to stop by and for the thoughtful (and delicious) cookie delivery! πŸͺπŸ’šWe appreciate the continued support from our community and enjoyed sharing what we do! πŸš‘

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW) πŸ’›πŸ’›

Behind every emergency call is a calm, steady voice guiding the way. Today we recognize and thank our 911 dispatchersβ€”the unseen heroes who answer every call, no matter the hour, and provide critical support when it matters most. Your ability to stay composed under pressure, gather lifesaving information, and coordinate responders is what keeps our communities safe. We appreciate your dedication, your resilience, and everything you do behind the scenes.

The National Interagency Fire Center increased the national preparedness level to a PL2 this morning, months ahead of the 10-year average. https://www.nifc.gov/fire-information/nfn

The conditions so far this year have produced significant, even historic, events across Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and South Dakota. As winter recedes, these conditions can be expected to continue moving northward. North Dakota has had 58 wildland fires reported so far this year with much of the southwest experiencing periods of high fire danger.

The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services has already convened Fire Readiness Level calls with state agencies and partners to ensure staff and equipment are prepositioned as conditions warrant and are prepared to offer surge support as requested by local, tribal, and federal departments and agencies.

North Dakotans can mitigate the risks of wildland fire by monitoring the fire danger in your area as well as abiding local burn restrictions in place. You should always learn before you burn at NDResponse.gov/burn

The first of our three new ambulances has been placed in service!

Our Next Generation Ambulance replacement program replaces our aging, 2 wheel drive ambulances with ambulances purpose built and equipped for Stanley. With new stretchers, ventilators, safety features, and other technology, these investments allow us to continue to bring exceptional care right to the patient’s side.

A major thank you to the Mountain County commission for donating towards our replacement program.

Merry Christmas to you and your families πŸŽ„

This Christmas, Stanley Ambulance would like to thank those who serve while others celebrate. Many of you miss family gatherings, traditions, and quiet moments at home because emergencies do not pause for the holidays. You show up in the hardest moments, providing care, calm, and reassurance when it matters most. Your sacrifice does not go unnoticed, and your dedication is deeply appreciated this Christmas season.
Have a safe and merry Christmas πŸŽ„

πŸ’— October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
πŸ’—
Our crew is proud to show our support by wearing pink shirts in honor of breast cancer survivors, fighters, and those we’ve lost. πŸ’ž Every shirt represents hope, strength, and the importance of early detection.

We stand with our community β€” and with everyone affected by breast cancer β€” as we work together for awareness, support, and a cure. πŸŽ—οΈπŸš‘
