The Gaston Gazette 2026 Best of The Best Community Choice Awards opens for voting TODAY and we are so proud to say that Stanley Total Living Center has been nominated in the top 5 in 5 different categories including best Senior Living facility, Non-Profit Organization, Customer Service, Employer for 101 to 500 employees, and Place to Work.
In addition to these nominations, there are also 5 individual staff members named in the top 5 in various categories which include:
Best Physical Therapist—Angee Lockman
Best Boss—our Administrator Jennifer DeFelice and our Assistant Director of Nursing Candice Bess
Best Nurse—our Director of Nursing Sandra Mull and our Assistant Director of Nursing Candice Bess
Person of the Year—our Chaplain Tim Barton
Please mark your calendars to remind you to vote each day starting today through Thursday, March 19th—all votes are greatly appreciated not only by the facility as a great way to market our services to our local community but to show each of these individuals how much everything they do means.

This will then allow you to register prior to making your 1st vote and will then send you a personal link to use for daily voting moving forward. You can register with multiple email accounts for additional voting to further increase your voting power. Also be sure to check out and vote for other businesses in the various categories—our small town of Stanley has so many amazing small businesses who work hard every single day and I am sure your votes would be appreciated by them as well!
The top 3 in each category will be notified on May 8th and then final winners will be announced at a banquet later that month so thank you in advance for all your support in helping to show our community that Stanley Total Living Center and its staff really is the best of the best.
