Our Story
Welcome to Stress Free Home Care, we are a non-medical in-home care service. Stress Free Home Care and staff are licensed and insured to take care of you or your family member. We offer the best care because we treat you or your family member as our own family. Our first job in your home is to care. Every client is always treated with the respect they deserve. Our staff is available to make your life easier. We want you to have the best life possible with the limits you or your family member have been given. Studies have shown that being cared for in your own home as apposed to in a nursing facility you will heal faster and feel better. Stress Free Home Care is here to help you live a joyful and productive life in the comfort of your own home. Call today for a free consultation by one of our community care coordinators. Once you have decided to start services, one of our registered nurses will perform a medical assessment and develop the care plan for your loved one. Our caregivers follow the care plan to provide assistance for your family member.
Stress Free Home Care was started by Candi Wheat Lethcoe and Kim Jones on October 5, 2010! The very first clients were the late Ron & Katherine Harper. After several years they purchased a wheelchair transportation van to utilize for their clients and individuals in the community.
Stress Free Home Care is very involved in the community with many volunteer efforts and financial contributions. They continue to volunteer for the Gaston County Meals on Wheels program once a month, since 2013. Zach’s Place is an organization in Stanley that helps feed children at a local church and the office staff volunteer and make financial contributions to help with purchasing the food for the children. The Shelter of Gaston County has also benefited from meals prepared by Stress Free Home Care and delivered to The Shelter for the women and children. Stress Free Home Care has given money to East Gaston High School’s baseball team and Stanley All Star’s traveling to the Dixie Youth World Series in August 2017. Many other volunteer efforts and financial contributions have been made and will continue, as Candi lives by the words of the late Ron Harper, “You have to give back!”
