Whether you are just heading out on vacation or just getting back....journaling can be a huge help in calming your mind and lowering stress.

Jot down your travel intentions or some nice reflections (or God moments) in your journal. Be sure to reflect how the moment felt, what you noticed or learned or even how it smelled.

Setting intentions and reflecting in this way can be so transformational in our busy stressful lives.

Make a game of using your muscles!💪

Every time you pass an exit squeeze you glute muscles 5 times. Try to keep up when going thru major cities!

Stopping for gas do some squats while you wait.

If you're a fitness watch wearer, you can get quite a few "steps" in swinging your arms.

Stuck in traffic, try box breathing in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4 sec.

It's amazing how a few little consistent habits can energize you for the road ahead 😀

Is it time for a little Spring cleaning?

I love Spring, it's my absolute fave time for renewal. Lots of rain to hydrate the ground and bring forth new growth.

Each season really does have purpose in the whole picture. We may dread the cold dark winters but some seeds actually need that period of dormancy to able to sprout in the Spring, like Lavender.

I think we as humans need a period of rest and dormancy to allow for new growth as well. Sometimes it takes being hunkered down in a dark house w cold cloudy days to appreciate 60° again, sunshine, birds, little bits of green sprouting up.

Our bodies sometimes need warm comfort food and slowing down for a bit to allow for renewal and new cell growth in the next season.

I'm about halfway through a 90 day Reset and really feel like I'm just now appreciating the slowing down. When we fight against this natural rhythm, let me tell ya, you are fighting against nature.
