On Friday, November 14th, PCHD staff dressed in blue in support of World Diabetes Day. Nurse Renee Jones partnered with Kendyl from the Powell Co Extension Office to teach about diabetes at the Senior Citizens Center. Participants learned how physical activity and coping are both important to prevent and manage diabetes. They played bingocize and received word search books.
