Holiday Schedule for the Exchange Program

Studies show that overdose rates are about 22% higher during the holidays compared to non-holiday periods. Several more purple Narcan boxes have been placed around the county. The locations are:

Clay City--
Foothills Health and Wellness Center
Clay City Pediatrics & Primary Care
Triple Stop Gas Station/Convenience Store

Whether you use drugs, love someone who does, or just care about the people in your community, it’s important to be prepared if you encounter someone who is overdosing. You can make a difference!

Our HANDS Program had a wonderful time celebrating the season at our annual Christmas party on Monday, December 15th. Families enjoyed a delicious meal, fun crafts, gifts, pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus and the chance to “Adopt an Elf”! There were around 70 in attendance for this fun-filled night!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing community partners who helped make this event possible:

• Powell County CECC
• The Golden Rule
• Stanton Elementary FRYSC
• Grace Fellowship Church for allowing us the use of their facility.

Health Departments play a vital role in all of our communities! Today our CG Bank Stanton team was privileged to present a donation check to the Powell County Health Department HANDS Program to aid in their Family Christmas Party.

HANDS is a program designed to support parents at critical development points during their child’s first two years of life by assist with child development, parenting skills, health services and other needed resources. We pray these families have a blessed holiday!
