“Food fills the plate, family fills the soul.” 🧡

Our Family Thanksgiving Dinner was such a huge success, and our hearts are still so full! Thank you to all our wonderful residents and their loved ones who joined us—your presence is what made the day truly special.

A huge shout-out to our amazing dietary team for pouring so much love and hard work into making this celebration happen. We couldn’t have done it without you!

🌟 Resident Spotlight: Meet Robert! 🌟

We’re excited to shine this quarter’s spotlight on Robert, a proud Stanton native with a lifetime full of hard work, service, and great stories!

Robert served our country as an Army Infantry Rifleman in the Vietnam War and later worked as a farm hand, dedicating his days to helping others and getting the job done right.

In his free time, Robert has enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending auctions—and he’s been known to have quite the collection of fishing rods! Around Accura, Robert keeps us all on our toes with his constant pranks—whether it’s fake snakes, spiders, or other surprises, he never misses a chance to make us laugh (or jump!). We love that he brings such a fun, lighthearted spirit to our community.

Robert comes from a family of four brothers, and we’re so thankful to have him as part of our Accura family. His humor and friendly nature bring so much joy to everyone around him. 💙

Thank you for being you, Robert — we are lucky to have you here!

Today, we pause to remember and honor all those who have served our country—past and present. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication protect the freedoms we hold dear, and we are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙

We had the privilege of taking a few of our own veterans to the Stanton Schools Veterans Day program, and it was a beautiful and heartfelt tribute. Thank you to the school and students for including us and showing such respect and gratitude to those who served.

From all of us here—thank you, veterans. Your service will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

With many Iowa families facing food insecurity due to delayed SNAP benefits, Accura Healthcare of Stanton is hosting a community food drive to help fill the gap.

📍 Drop-off Location: 213 Halland Ave, Stanton, IA 51573
📦 Items Needed: Rice, grains, canned goods, cereal, snacks, juice, coffee, tea, shelf-stable milk, and more!

🎃👻 Happy Halloween from all of us at Accura Healthcare of Stanton! 👻🎃

We had an absolute blast celebrating this spooky season with our annual Halloween Costume Contest! Our residents had the tough job of voting, and it was a very close three-way tie for first place… but in the end, Dorothy (Callie, our Dietary Manager!) clicked her ruby slippers and took home the win! 🌈✨

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun — the creativity, laughter, and smiles made this Halloween one to remember! 🧡🕸️
