Thank You, Josephine Caring Community and all the Residents there!

We are so incredibly grateful to the Josephine Caring Community and all of the wonderful residents who put together such thoughtful kits for the families in our shelter. 48 Teddy Bear kits!!! Wowza! Each bag containing coloring books, cookies, stickers, storybooks, and especially the cuddly teddy bears bring so much joy and comfort. It is so touching and personal. It means more than words can say.

For the children and adults who walk through our doors carrying the weight of trauma and abuse, these small gifts mean the world. A soft teddy bear to hold can bring calm in the middle of chaos. A cookie and a storybook can be a reminder that someone out there cares. And your kindness does just that...it reminds survivors that they are not alone.

Your compassion, empathy, and continued support lift us up and help us wrap each survivor in care. These gifts aren’t just items. They are love, safety, and a piece of healing.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our community and for always showing up with open hearts and helping hands. We are so thankful for you.
