As we come together during this special time, our hope is that each of us experiences a safe and blessed holiday with our loved ones. Amidst the delicious meals and joyful celebrations, let's take a moment to reflect on the true essence of this season.

Welborn - Margaret Yvonne Welborn, at the age of 86, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at her home in Keystone Heights, FL. She was born on November 28, 1939, in Memphis, TN to Buster Starks and Estelle Jackson. Margaret spent her adult life working as a cook and dedicated herself to providing a better life for her family. She had a true passion for cooking and had a gift for creating dishes where love could be tasted with each bite. Margaret was the true definition of a matriarch and a prayer warrior who loved her family deeply. She was loved equally back by all.

She is survived by her children: Pam, Tim (Alma), Paul (Becky), and Angela; her grandchildren: Tim (Tina), Melissa (Desmond), Kristina, Joshua, Kristopher (Angie), Kimberly, Jonathan, Robert (Karen), Cayce (TJ), Matthew, Brittney, and Bryan (Rachel); and her great-grandchildren: Emily (John), Sarah (Marco), Evelyn, Joseph, Tanner, Alex, Nick, Camden, Zendaya, Briella, Lexton, Lillian, Olivia, Raelynn, Lana, Christian, Olivia, Nicolette, Liam, Mason, Everett, Evianna, Ty, Teagan, Calloway, and Madi.

Telli – Joni Leigh Telli, age 55, of Starke, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She was born on September 12, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida, to her loving parents, Jerry and Brenda Telli. Joni moved to Starke nine years ago and quickly became a cherished part of her community. She was a woman with a gentle soul and a beautiful creative spirit. Joni found joy in artwork, cherished quiet moments reading her favorite books, and loved nothing more than spending time with her grandsons, who were the light of her life. She was an animal lover at heart and never hesitated to help any animal in need, showing compassion in ways both seen and unseen. Family was everything to Joni. Whether she was sharing laughter, offering comfort, or simply being present, she poured love into every moment. Her kindness, warmth, and selflessness touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Joni is survived by her devoted parents, Jerry and Brenda Telli; her loving daughter, Erika Telli of Jacksonville, FL; her sister, Wendy (Eric) Matthews; and her precious grandsons, Kaleb Sanders and Theodore Sanders. She also leaves behind extended family members, friends, and many whose lives were made brighter by her gentle presence. We love you so much and miss you dearly. XOXO, forever.

Thomas – Gail Boatwright Thomas, age 77, of Starke, Florida passed away on December 9, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born in Palm Beach County, Florida on November 23, 1948, to the late Clinton Boatwright and Thelma Williams Boatwright. Gail was raised in Palm Beach County and relocated to Bradford County in her youth. While attending Bradford High School, Gail met her best friend and forever companion, Tommy Allen Thomas. Not long after, they were happily married on February 14, 1970, and were blessed with 50 amazing years of marriage and three precious children. Gail had a successful career as a Dental Assistant at Dr. Harry Gruen’s office, but her most cherished role was being a homemaker. Gail’s greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored every moment spent with her family and dedicated her life to caring for them. In her younger years, Gail greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing alongside Tommy, developing impressive skill in the sport. She was always talented with her hands and found joy in arranging flowers, creating wreaths, and making new crafts. Decorating her home and filling it with beauty brought her great happiness. Gail was also a woman of deep faith, depending daily on her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed attending and worshipping with her church family at Madison Street Baptist Church where she was a longtime member. More than anything, Gail loved making everlasting memories with those she loved. She was such a treasure and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Gail was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Tommy Thomas; brothers, Wayne and Terry Boatwright; and sisters, June Dicandio and Joann Eaves.

Gail is survived by her children, Julie (Jason) Schmit of Amery, WI, Traci (Andy) Johns of Keystone Heights, FL, David Dutch Thomas of Starke, FL; 9 grandchildren, Cheyenne, Wyatt, Tyler, Noah, Sarah, Elizabeth, Elijah, Gabriela, and Lucas; brother-in-law, Leon Dicandio; sister-in-law who she loved as a sister, Linda (Richard) Robinson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Graveside Celebration of Gails's life will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Old Providence Cemetery in Lake Butler, Florida with Brother Charles Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Old Providence Cemetery, Lake Butler. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service at the cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Chumack – Barbara Elizabeth Chumack, age 72, of Keystone Heights, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 5, 1953, to the late Richard Albert Habercam and Grace Richardson Habercam. Barbara was raised in Maryland and following high school, she married and became a mother, proudly raising her son. She later went on to earn her certification as a Registered Nurse and faithfully served for many years in the healthcare profession. From a young age, Barbara felt a calling to care for others and was grateful for the opportunity to serve in this compacity. Barbara also served her country with honor in the United States Navy as an officer. During her service, she was stationed in Cuba for a period of time. Following her honorable discharge, she moved to Gainesville, Florida, where she raised her daughter in both Gainesville and High Springs. In recent years, Barbara made her home in Keystone Heights to be closer to her daughter. Professionally, Barbara served at Shands UF in Gainesville and spent nearly 20 years working in home healthcare in the billing and coding department. When not working, Barbara loved being outdoors. In her younger years, she enjoyed swimming and horseback riding. Above all, Barbara was most passionate about her family—especially her grandbabies. She cherished every moment with them and found her greatest joy in creating precious memories together. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, David Coscia, III of Ann Arbor, MI and Brianna (Cameron) Moore of Keystone Heights, FL; three grandchildren, Colette, Henry, and Aniston; along with many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00am at Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel with Pastor Sammy Nelson officiating. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida in the near future. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Martha Jean Chase, age 88, of Starke, FL, went to her heavenly home on December 7, 2025, at Good Samaritan Center Nursing Home in Live Oak, FL with her family by her side. Martha was born in Miami, FL on May 11, 1937, and grew up in Miami, FL before she married Clifton Chase, a U.S. Marine. They happily traveled to various military bases along the East coast. Martha moved to Starke, FL in 1972 and worked several jobs including the Holiday Inn and Best Western part-time to care for her three children. Martha loved helping others and volunteered at the nursing home in Gainesville, FL. On one occasion, Martha who was 51 at the time, was helping her neighbor, Charlotte, remove shingles on her roof. While assisting she fell and broke her hip. Martha also enjoyed talking to everyone she met and no one was a stranger. Martha loved to work in her yard and had the best yard in the neighborhood. Martha loved her family, liked to have coffee and donuts, and to reminisce of days gone by with her family. Martha, also, loved to take the family to McDonalds for ice cream and enjoyed spending birthdays and holidays with family. Martha’s favorite saying was “The thing about it is…we can solve the problem.” Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin McNeal and Martha McNeal; sisters, Fola Clay and Elizabeth McNeal; brothers, Stanley McNeal and Norman McNeal; son, Michael Chase; and grandchild, Justin Hogg.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Gail Soulsby of Graham, FL and Laura Charlet of Box Elder, SD; son, Paul Chase of Samson, AL; her grandchildren, Christopher Hogg, Max Hogg, Lafretta, Hogg, Shawn Soulsby, Daniel DeBlasio, Erica DeBlasio, Brittany Chase and Bailey Chase; 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Martha’s family lovingly prepared this tribute and plans to celebrate her life privately. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
