Now booking Friday appointments (9 AM–5 PM) in Starkville • Adults 18+

Jason is licensed in Mississippi and South Carolina with 13 years of experience helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and big existential questions. As a relator and problem-solver at heart, he champions accountability, curiosity toward pain, and re-examining the beliefs that keep us stuck. Outside session, you’ll find him reading, writing, listening to music, gaming, or tackling home projects.

Welcome Chrystal Roberts, LPC-S, to Monarch Counseling & Wellness!

We are thrilled to welcome Chrystal Roberts, LPC-S, to the Monarch Counseling & Wellness team! Chrystal joins us as a contract clinician offering both in-person therapy and telehealth services from our Starkville, MS office.

With more than 13 years of experience, Chrystal is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor who brings both depth and heart to her work. She specializes in helping individuals navigate life’s most complex and meaningful transitions, with advanced training in EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her approach is grounded, integrative, and deeply attuned to the wisdom of the body, the depth of emotion, and the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.

Chrystal works with adults and couples and has particular expertise in areas such as complex trauma, attachment and relationship concerns, interpersonal abuse, life transitions, and neurodivergence. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, identity exploration, or simply feeling ready for a season of growth, Chrystal offers a compassionate, client-centered space to explore and heal.

Clients often describe Chrystal as warm, intuitive, and deeply present. She believes therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space to unfold, reconnect, and move toward what matters most in life.

While she will begin seeing clients full-time starting in July, Chrystal is currently available Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
