Thinking about or prepping for weight loss surgery or GLP-1’s?
It’s no secret that you need a Registered Dietitian to help provide guidance, resources, and individualized care.
But there are often some kitchen gadgets that can support your health routine.
I’m going to share a few of these over the next few weeks. Please note that I don’t receive any affiliate kickbacks for anything here. My product suggestions are from my professional experience only. Lots of brands exist on the market. I suggest to read reviews and consider your budget. Amazon also has where you can look at the last 90 days of pricing for items, allowing you to make an informed decision about the price.
So for my first item, I highly recommend a “professional grade” smaller blender. These are perfect for
- blending protein drinks
- making smooth and creamy fruit and Greek yogurt smoothies, and
- blending soups and other food into a puréed texture for bariatric patients on a temporary puréed texture diet.
Perks of the smaller size include
- takes up less storage space
- easier to clean, fitting on the top shelf of the dishwasher
- many come with a lid for on the go
Years ago I found a Ninja professional personal blender on the clearance aisle. It works as well now as it did years ago, which is why I’m sharing this specific brand.
Stay tuned for more kitchen suggestions!
