Golden Triangle Quilters Guild To promote the art and craft of quilt making in the Starkville, MS area. We invite all level of quilters to join us. Visitors are warmly welcomed!

Meets 3rd Thursday of each month, 5:30pm,
Trinity Presbyterian Church, 607 Hospital Rd. The Guild meets monthly, the 3rd Thursday of the month, 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Trinity Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall @ 607 Hospital Road, Starkville, MS. We have a sit and sew the 2nd Saturday of the month, same location, 9:00am with activities announced.

LouAnders Quilting Group drew the winning ticket today at St. Joseph’s, Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast.
Thanks to all who supported us by purchasing tickets for the “Let it Shine” color wash quilt.
Through your generous donations, we were able to donate $1500 to the food pantry.

GTQG was well represented at MQA Fall Gathering in Winona.
We had registration covered, 3 demonstrations in the round robin presentation plus show & tell participants. Good turnout for the meeting & a beautiful venue. Thanks to all who donated cookies for the Saturdays meal.

July Guild meeting for GTQG started with 2 Quilt of Valor presentations. We had a wonderful turnout to honor 2 special Veterans from our community. Thanks to all who participated in making the quilts we presented. Later, at our monthly business meeting, we voted to join the QOV Organization & become a QOV group!!! We look forward to many more QOV presentations.

July Sit & Sew was making Quilt of Valor blocks. Amelia Fox volunteered to cut strips for the event. The group made 72 blocks, enough for 2 quilts using the Barn Raising pattern.
Thanks to all the members who participated!!
We also cut up & packaged one of the rolls of batting the Guild purchased for community projects. These kits will be available at the July Guild meeting.
