When we bring our grief and mourning to nature, it can help decrease our pain in the moment while also helping us heal in the long run. These special Monday’s Moments gatherings provide grief education and support with the added healing benefit of talking about and being with nature. They’ll be held at the Millbrook Marsh Nature Center where we’ll have both indoor meeting space and outdoor wandering space available to us.

Please register below ↓ or by visiting www.CRPR.org. Space is limited. For additional questions or information email Jackie@JackieHook.com or call (814) 237-2712.

Koch Funeral Home has partnered with YMCA of Centre County.

When you lose a loved one, having support helps you on your healing journey. It is powerful to realize you are not alone and to learn how others make it through. In this grief education and support group, we’ll discuss grief and mourning, have opportunities to share our own stories, if desired, and be among others who have experienced a loss. Adults of all ages are welcome – intergenerational support is a powerful healer too.

Facilitators are Jackie Naginey Hook and Brenda Oyler Kim. To RSVP, email Jackie Naginey Hook at Jackie@JackieHook.com or call 814-237-2712.

When: Every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, January 13, and January 27, 2026
Time: 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Where: YMCA of Centre County, State College Branch, 677 W. Whitehall Road, State College

We would love to hear about your experience, please email admin@kochfuneralhome.com.

Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
