We at Juniper Village at Brookline work to nurture the spirit of life in each individual through our distinctive senior living programs that encourage active bodies, engaged minds and fulfilled spirits. At Juniper Village, we believe that the keys to healthy aging are keeping fit and staying socially connected. Our personal care communities, The Inn and The Pines, feature gracious rooms and suites, each with private bath. Personal care provides an ideal living arrangement for adults whose independence would be enhanced by an individual program of assistance with daily routines, giving you the peace-of-mind that you deserve. Relax and enjoy a lifestyle free of the everyday responsibilities of owning and maintaining a house in our one- and two-bedroom independent-living apartments, The Willows. Apartments are located off of a private interior lobby, each featuring a private patio or balcony. Enjoy our spacious lounges, fitness room, beauty salon, and café, as well as outdoor ponds, community porches, and picnic pavilions. Managing healthcare can be overwhelming! Scheduling appointments across town, communicating with different doctors, and tracking prescriptions can feel like a full-time job.

Our innovative Connect4Life program relieves that stress by bringing key healthcare partners on site, and having our skilled Medical Concierge coordinate it all!

For residents, that means personalized attention, fewer trips out for medical care, and more time for things and people you love.

For families, it means peace-of-mind, knowing there’s a team collaborating behind the scenes and paying attention to the details.

For healthcare providers, it means access to the complete, real-time information to facilitate the best outcomes for your patients.

The best part is Connect4Life works! Not only are residents happier - they’re also healthier. Third-party research shows Juniper residents are 50% less likely to require a hospitalization than peers.

Beware the Ides of March! Our delicious Caesar-inspired Dine-In Event featured roasted lamb, feta orzo, hummus, lemon ricotta dip, fresh fruit, honey cake, and almond cookies. We enjoyed the delicious meal prepared by our incredible dining team while donning Roman laurel wreaths and listening to a monologue from Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare performed by Connections Director, Cat! Don't miss our next Dine-In event!

Juniper Village at Brookline's 3rd Annual Chopped Event was a HUGE success! Juniper team Patrick Walker and Wes Chicko went head-to-head with Megan Stroup from Home Insteadand Breanna Brumbaugh from Advantage Home Health-Feel the Advantage in an Irish-themed showdown. Residents got to enjoy Guinness and an Irish Rose Mocktail while they watched the teams comprise dishes featuring lamb, Guinness beer, Irish cheese, and potato soup! The bonus round included creating toppings for German Chocolate Cake made by our very own dining teams that were then served to community members in attendance.

Our incredible guest judges included Paul Kendeffy, a seasoned local chef whose credits include Carnegie House and Zola, and food-loving community member, Park Lenhart. Our winner was...team Juniper who created an Irish potato cake that set them apart from the competition!

Happy 102nd birthday to Juniper Village Senior Living at Brookline resident Peter Haglich. Peter was born on the Croatian island of Lošinj, one of eight children. He later attended the Nautical Institute and served as a Naval officer.

According to Juniper Village, he said his greatest accomplishment is having so many friends, and kept his secret to longevity simple: “Just get out of bed every morning happy.”
