This month, Juniper Village shines a spotlight on talented resident Dennis “Denny” Bloom.

Denny’s lifelong passion for woodworking began in 1972 when he built his family home in Philipsburg. For decades, he dedicated his evenings and weekends to remodeling houses and churches, turning community needs into opportunities to sharpen his craft.

A selection of Denny’s work—including cutting boards, serving trays, and pepper grinders—is now on display in the first-floor case at The Pines. Known for his willingness to experiment, he often chose non‑traditional woods and frequently worked without patterns or templates, letting the material and moment guide the form.

We invite you to stop by and experience the artistry of Denny’s craftsmanship firsthand.

At Juniper, every day is Earth Day thanks to our Green Canopy signature program.

This Earth Day, we are reflecting on how a commitment to sustainability strengthens both our local communities and the planet at large. For us, being “green” is woven into the very fabric of how we operate.

Our Green Canopy signature program provides the foundation for sustainable, planet-friendly practices. By prioritizing energy conservation, smarter waste management, paper reduction, and more, we are supporting a vibrant, healthy environment for the generations to follow.

We’re proud to have one of the most tenured teams in the industry. Our success is rooted in our people—a leadership team with a long, shared history of working together and a deep understanding of what it takes to do this well.

Join us in celebrating 38 years!

Each April, we celebrate a dual milestone: our Juniper anniversary and the birthday of the woman who inspired it all!

April 6 marked the birthday of Lynne Katzmann’s grandmother, Oma. A true original, Oma survived two world wars, ran her own business in the 1920s and rode her motorcycle well into her 70s. Lynne chose April 6 to launch a bold new vision of what it means to grow older.

Nearly 40 years later, our veteran leadership team carries Oma’s spirit into everything we do. But what truly sets us apart is the depth of experience we have gained over these 38 years, having navigated an evolving industry and the journey of getting older together.

Our strength lies in our shared history, providing the deep roots for a strong culture and a pioneering spirit to keep pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities.
