We specialize in connecting our individuals with opportunities. CARES of Central PA is family focused, strength based and optimize opportunities for job training, employment, health, wellness,learning, independence, involvement in the community, vacation services and to provide long-term support for families in a residential setting.

Our Philipsburg VIPs have been busy completing puzzles at local libraries to stay out of the cold, bowling, volunteering at local non-profits such as Community Clothes Closet, Centre County PAWS, and the Huntingdon County Humane Society LC #2157, celebrating National Ice Cream Day at Dairy Queen, attending Drums Alive at the Williamsport YMCA, exploring roadside attractions, visiting the Walter L Main Circus Train Wreck Memorial, the Leighty's Farm Market Spring Bonanza, checking out the race cars at Dubois Mall, and Dr. Doolittles Station where Jurassic Park meets Thomas the Train.
