One of the biggest messages my middle & high school students with substance abuse disorders want us to hear as parents, helpers, teachers, coaches, and support staff-
“We can’t just stop!”
It’s about more than education and discipline. There is healing needed for hurts we don’t yet know how to articulate. We are dafaulted to survival mode and we need your patience and safe spaces to come out of them and think clearly.
