Join us as we fast and pray today!

As we enter this season of gratitude and generosity, we are deeply aware of the millions of families across our nation facing food insecurity, a number that continues to grow in light of the current government shutdown.

Over the past week, many have reached out to ask if Foundations is doing anything to help. In response, we want to invite you to join us in both compassion and action.

On Tuesday, November 4th, from sunup to sundown, our FRC staff will be fasting and praying for individuals and families affected by the loss of food assistance. We welcome anyone who feels led to join us in this time of fasting and prayer.

As part of the fast, we encourage you to take the amount you would have spent on food that day and donate food or funds in that same amount to a local food pantry such as the Statesboro Food Bank or Christian Social Ministries, helping to meet the needs of our neighbors.

Together, let’s be the village for those who are struggling and respond with generosity and love. 💛
