Our small but mighty team is located on Georgia Southern's beautiful downtown Statesboro campus. ✨Dr. Rosko is a human-environment geographer whose research program is situated at the intersection of development processes, socio-environmental change, and livelihoods.

🔈It's another Affiliate Tuesday! Today we're highlighting one of our new Student Affiliates, Lord Coffie.

✨Lord is a graduate researcher at Georgia Southern University! His work explores how AI, machine learning, and deep learning can tackle real-world problems in healthcare, cybersecurity, and education. Lord has presented multiple papers at international conferences. His recent study, “Deep Learning for Lung Cancer Prediction: Performance & Explainability Analysis,” focuses on improving early cancer detection through AI. He’s also currently working on “Explainable Machine Learning for Autism Screening Across Developmental Stages,” a project that aims to enhance early diagnosis and understanding of autism through technology.
