💗 Meet the SPOT! 💗
Meet Anna Walker, one of our Speech-Language Pathologists at The Therapy SPOT!
Anna earned her M.Ed. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia. Being a Statesboro local, she grew up seeing the incredible impact that The Therapy SPOT has on our community. Lea and Caroline also supported and encouraged her as she worked toward becoming an SLP. When her family moved back to Statesboro, there was really no question where she wanted to work, and she is so thankful for the opportunity to now be part of the SPOT team.
After serving for several years on the mission field in Nicaragua, Anna developed a special interest in the Spanish language and loves working with Spanish-speaking and bilingual families.
Anna is married to her high school sweetheart, Brandon Walker, and they have a three year old son named Eli, with a baby girl on the way!! Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks, reading, cooking, and serving at Southbridge Community Church.
One of Anna’s favorite parts of her job is walking alongside patients and their families. Being an advocate and cheerleader for children and families is something she considers such an honor and privilege.
At The Therapy SPOT, the team lives by the motto “be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.” Anna loves celebrating wins, encouraging positivity, and helping equip families to support their children. She also says the SPOT team is truly the best of the best, and the coworkers who have become mentors and friends make work meaningful and fun.
We are so thankful to have Anna on the SPOT team! 💙
