Did you know that around 10 weeks of pregnancy, a baby is roughly the size of a strawberry? It’s a small but exciting milestone during early pregnancy, when so much growth and development is happening.

Strawberries are also a great example of a nutrient-rich food — they’re naturally high in vitamin C and antioxidants, which support overall wellness and are part of a balanced diet for many women.

Whether you’re pregnant, planning for the future, or simply focused on your health, small choices and regular care can make a meaningful difference along the way.

❤️February is National Heart Month❤️

Heart health isn’t just a “later in life” conversation — it matters for women at every stage. In fact, heart disease is one of the leading health concerns for women, and many risk factors can begin earlier than we realize.

Routine care, managing stress, staying active, and having open conversations with your healthcare provider all play an important role in supporting long-term heart health. Pregnancy history, hormonal changes, and overall wellness can also impact cardiovascular health over time.

This month is a great reminder to check in on yourself and prioritize preventive care.

delivery on maternal request represents approximately 2.5% of US births and is performed prior to labor and without medical indications.

While the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) advocates for planned vaginal delivery in the absence of indications, it also honors patient autonomy following counseling on relative risks and benefits.

Cesarean delivery is associated with lower rates of and urinary incontinence compared with vaginal delivery, but with increased risk for placental abnormalities and in subsequent pregnancies.
