Tuesday Tooth Q&A…

Q: Why do I need to floss?

A: Flossing helps remove food particles and plaque between the teeth and along the gum line where toothbrushes cannot reach, reducing the risk of cavities. It also helps remove bad breath-causing bacteria. Everyone should floss at least once per day, preferably before bedtime, and make sure to floss before brushing your teeth in order to ensure the loosened particles are cleaned away from the mouth.
