🌟 Athlete of the Month: Ashley Ruffo 🌟

Ashley has been a Fusion member since January 2022 and for the past four years she has embodied what consistency and commitment look like. As a hybrid member in X⁴ and CrossFit along with ongoing nutrition coaching, Ashley has made incredible progress both inside and outside the gym.

She has dropped 11.6% of total body fat while also building lean muscle and strength. Ashley is a true testament to what happens when training and nutrition work together. The results speak for themselves but even more importantly, her confidence, happiness, and overall health continue to grow.

Ashley, we are so proud of you and all the hard work you continue to put in. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our Fusion community! 💚💪

Q: What were your goals when you joined?
A: My goals when I joined were to become more comfortable with exercising and to become more consistent with it.

Q: What's your favorite class/movement and why?
A: 5:30pm CrossFit is probably my favorite, but I enjoy popping into other classes when I have the chance. Also can’t go wrong with X4 (5:15am & Saturday) where it all started for me. My favorite movement right now is a back-squat. I’m getting so strong and it’s fun pushing myself to keep upping the weight.

Q: What advice would you give to someone nervous about starting?
A: I would say give yourself grace and don’t give up cause we all had to start somewhere.

Janet joined Fusion Training back in 2013 and over the past 13 years has shown up consistently. She has officially surpassed an incredible milestone of over 3,000 visits! 👏

At 64 years young, Janet proves every single day that age is just a number. She is fiercely competitive, continues to get stronger and fitter every year!

Not only is she a long term member, but Janet has also been an amazing coach with Fusion for many years, leading by example, inspiring others, and setting the bar high for what consistency and commitment look like.

And yes, her favorite cheats are M&Ms and donuts 🍩🍫😉

Meet Coach Aaliyah 👋

We're so excited to welcome Coach Aaliyah to the Fusion team! She is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist, CPR/AED certified, and currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Georgia Southern University. Her fitness journey began at just 13 years old and became a true passion after moving to Georgia in 2022, where training transformed her physically, mentally, and emotionally.

"Hi! My name is Aaliyah, and I am a junior at Georgia Southern University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

I began my fitness journey at the age of 13, but it truly became a passion when I moved to Georgia from southwest Florida in 2022. Since then, fitness has transformed my life not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. What started as a personal commitment grew into a deep appreciation for the confidence, structure, and resilience that consistent training provides.
