⭐Athlete of the Month: James Coto⭐
James has been with Fusion Training for about 1 year and 9 months, and from early on he really jumped in and became part of the community. He didn’t just show up to train, he got involved in events like the Open and has continued to push himself in competitions like Fittest of the Coast, mountain bike races, and more!
This year he had a standout Open performance and earned a spot in Quarterfinals 👏 On top of that, we’ve seen steady growth in his skills, consistency, and confidence as an athlete.
What we love most is seeing his whole family in here together. His wife and kids showing up, training, and making fitness part of their lifestyle is what it’s all about!

I came to Fusion to get consistent again and make fitness something our whole family could do together.
My goal was to improve my health and set an example for my kids, and that’s exactly what’s happened. Since starting, I’m down about 20 lbs and 10% body fat, and I feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Along the way, the community has been the best part. We’ve made great friends, and being surrounded by like minded people pushes me to be better every day. I’ve also surprised myself by developing a new drive to take on challenges and compete again.
If I could give any advice, it would be this - don’t wait until you feel ready. Everyone starts somewhere, you just have to show up!
