Merry Christmas from our families to yours. Our residents, loved ones, & staff got a special visit by the BIG man in Red 🎅 last night! We celebrated in fellowship with love, laughter, & lots of goodies at our annual Christmas event! We love this time each year that we can come together and celebrate each other and realize these are cherished moments and a wonderful way to spend time at Christmas.

Jesus is the Reason for the season!! The Lodge is Christmas ready and we invite you to stop by for a visit and do a walk through to enjoy all the beautiful decorations. We had an amazing team of volunteers that just brought out the beauty of the season.

We had an amazing time honoring our Volunteers today with a Christmas volunteer appreciation luncheon. Each of them through their talents are the hands and feet of Jesus to our community. We especially enjoyed getting to spend time in fellowship together and to share with them how much their relationships at our community are so important and appreciated. Our residents & staff have enjoyed getting to know them over the years and the precious friendships that have been made. We can’t express to each of them enough…we love our volunteers!!!
We continue to pray blessings on each of them and their families❤️ We missed all the volunteers that couldn’t be with us today.

What a spectacular day at First Baptist Church with the Young at Heart Lunch and Organ performance.
We had 2 buses full of residents that dressed warm and enjoyed the outing.
We also had the pleasure of having Russ Lanier & Friends to come show off their amazing talent. It is always a great time when they come.
Also, this week we started out with a Fun Group of Students and their awesome Teacher Ashley Wren from Bulloch Academy. They included the residents with their Hand Bell performance and their fellowship was priceless.
We can’t forget about the fun Christmas games the residents played this week too. Lots of laughs and prizes were won!
It’s another day closer to Christmas! The birth of our Savior!

With Alzheimer’s Disease being the 6th leading cause of death in America and the only one in the top ten without a cure, every person will certainly come into contact with someone living with the disease.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!!🎄🎄🎄
We are so blessed to have such wonderful, faithful volunteers that continue to come and perform sharing their awesome talent (Mary Hannah Samples, Stan, Mr. Starling, and Donnie Collins this week) also,bringing fun games with amazing prizes (Ashley with Meadow Park Rehab) our fantastic activities staff (Kim & Sandra)for keeping the wheels rolling on the bus and taking our residents shopping and trips to the nail salon and so much more!

Cuteness overload tonight!!! We had the sweetest group of children from Statesboro Worship come share the christmas season with beautiful singing, sweet hugs, and fellowship with our residents. Thank you to our friend Jodie Hendrix for always making the arrangements for them to come each year, we appreciate you!
Also, a big thanks to Beth and friends this week for creating beautiful Christmas ornaments with our residents for their trees.
Brandi Harvey is another amazing talent with a Beautiful voice that came and shared Christmas music and a fun time as well!
Its beginning to feel and look like Christmas!
